libxz-java software package provides Java library with a complete implementation of XZ data compression, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libxz-java
libxz-java is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libxz-java package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libxz-java *
You will get with libxz-java package name, version, architecture and description in a table
